The launch ceremony of its latest cookbook “Manpasand Masala Mornings” by the iconic cooking expert and Masala TV personality, Shireen Anwar here today at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi. The launch ceremony was attended by prominent journalists, critics, food bloggers, food lovers and Shireen Anwar’s friends and fans.
The book launch ceremony, hosted by seasoned journalist and GM PR & Publications, HUM Network, Shanaz Ramzi, introduced the book to the attendees and provided an insight into the book and its contents. The introduction was followed by a brief speech by Nida Pervaiz, Senior Brand Manager Dalda, who appreciated the Network’s efforts in shaping people’s favourite cooking experts’ recipes in the form of a book. She also highlighted Dalda’s longstanding relations with Masala TV. This was followed by a short showreel introducing the ever-popular Shireen Anwar.
Shireen Anwar then took the stage and spoke about her association with Masala channel and how her life has transformed since then.
While addressing the attendees, HUM Network’s President Sultana Siddiqui thanked Manpasand for their support in the publication of the cookbooks and said, “Masala Mornings by Shireen Anwar is a perfect and comprehensive cookbook for anyone and everyone who loves food. Her years of experience and expertise clearly reflect in the book and the Network is sure that her fans and followers of all ages will be delighted.”
Masala Mornings by Shireen Anwar is an exclusive guide to fool-proof cooking with recipes in Urdu and English. The book offers a wide range of continental recipes, desserts, barbecue, desi cuisines as well as sides and sauces, along with photographs of many of the dishes and Shireen Anwar’s special cooking tips.
“Manpasand Masala Mornings” is the third book in the culinary series by HUM Network, the other two being Manpasand Live @9 with chef Gulzar and Handi with Zubaida Tariq.
